We invite you to stay in our brand new 1 bedroom casa in Yelapa, Jalisco Mexico. Relax in 500+ sq. feet of light and airy space that can accomodate up to 4 people comfortably, and boasts a fully
tiled modern bathroom. Construction is now complete and we will post pictures after our next visit!
You will be met at the pier by Diego or someone from his family - they are in the casa above ours. When you get off the boat, say them that you are going to Casa Anahi at Diego's to identify yourself. They will help you with your luggage on the walk to Casa Anahi. Please tip the luggage carriers. Diego and Marilu can answer your questions and take care of the weekly house cleaning while you are there.
The location is one of the most convenient in the Yelapa pueblo. Just yards from the bay so you can get in a quick snorkle and perfect for a spontaneous moonlight stroll along
the water's edge. It is also just a short walk to several great restaurants - the little grocery is even closer for spur of the moment grocery runs.
The bedroom is furnished with a full size bed, dresser and a built-in locking bodega. In addition there is a comfy sofa that can convert into another full size bed located in the main room. Both are draped with billowing mosquito nets from REI to ensure a peaceful sleep in this coastal village. The biggest open window facing the bay also has a colorful hammock from which one can watch the water, the village streets, or
the voladeros (paragliders) taking flight from a nearby hill.
When you are not at the local resturants, enjoy whipping something tasty up in the casa's kitchen. Cooks will appreciate the gas stove, refrigerator, toaster, blender, coffee maker, pots, pans and dishes - all the items a kitchen needs. Please be sure to microdyne your produce before preparing it to avoid Montezuma's revenge.
The kitchen also has a built in tiled bench along one wall so folks can also sit at the bar to encourage the cook.
Everything in Yelapa goes by boat or is carried by people and horses. Their clip clopping on the cobblestone streets is the closest thing to bustle you are
likely to find in this serene place - enjoy!
